Resilient Lotus
by Tony Avard
Wednesday 15th November, 6pm-7pm. Free entry. Gasworks Theatre Foyer.

Enlightenment can be hard. Especially when life gets involved. A group of seven people, mostly strangers, come together to find calm in their hectic lives. “resilient lotus” is a new play about the realities of trying to make the world ‘Woke’, when diversity comes into play, it may just be a little harder.

Tony Avard is a freelance writer and playwright. His debut play “Chasing Rainbows” discusses the very real effects of LGBT harassment in a school setting. He wrote the international award winning web series “Follies of Youth”, an educational web series about living with HIV and being a sexual assault survivor.

Enjoy a night at the theatre and check out A Prudent Man, playing at 7.30pm in our Studio Theatre.
